Who this covers
QUENIFI sells and licenses PISO WiFi vending software. This policy covers quenifi.com — the site where operators buy, activate and manage their licences.
It does not cover the WiFi customers of an operator's machine. When somebody inserts a coin into a QUENIFI unit, that session is handled entirely by that operator's own hardware. Their device address, session times and payments stay on that machine and are never sent to us. We hold no record of the people who use an operator's WiFi.
What we store, and why
- Your account — email address, your name if you give one, and a one-way hash of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot read it. This is what lets you log in.
- Your licences — the licence code, its type and status, when it was created and activated, and who it was transferred to or from. This is the record of what you bought.
- Activated units — an identifier for the board a licence is bound to, the board model, the name and location you choose to give a unit, and when it last checked in. Location is only ever what you type in yourself; nothing is detected automatically. It exists so you can tell your own machines apart on your dashboard.
- Technical logs — ordinary web server records, including IP addresses, kept briefly to keep the service running and secure.
If you sign in with Google or Facebook
We receive only your name and email address, and only to create or identify your account. We do not receive your password, your contacts, your friends, or permission to post anything. You can also register with an email and password instead and never involve them at all.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not share it for advertising.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the site: our hosting provider, and Cloudflare which serves the site securely. They process data on our behalf and for no purpose of their own. If Google or Facebook sign-in is used, that exchange happens directly with them under their own policies.
How long we keep it
Account and licence records are kept while your account is open, because a licence has to remain verifiable for as long as the machine it runs is in service. Delete your account and they go — see deleting your data. Server logs are discarded within a short period.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected].
Children
QUENIFI is sold to business operators and is not intended for children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be made clear on the site rather than slipped in quietly.
